We will again be hosting a “Cover Crops Day” in conjunction with ARK (Action for the River Kennet), Catchment Sensitive Farming and North Wessex AONB.

Tim Clarke will present the latest data on their performance and we'll walk the farm to see the trial plots. Dr Stephen Moss will give a presentation about how to beat blackgrass. After more than 40 years studying the weed, Stephen is a world expert and has some tried and tested strategies to offer, so it will be a very useful morning. Wexcombe Manor Farm, Wexcombe, Marlborough, Wiltshire, SN8 3SQ 9am - 1pm.
To book your place please contact: Tim Clarke or call: 07713333196

Wexcombe Manor Farm is a ‘Mixed Farm’ (crops and animals) set on chalk downland, around the village of Wexcombe, in the ‘North Wessex Downs’ Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, at the north east corner of Salisbury Plain, dropping down to the southern edge of the Vale of Pewsey. Wexcombe Manor Farm has been farmed by the Hosier family since 1920. My Great Grandfather A. J. Hosier, famously invented the Milking Bail (the portable milking parlour) having moved here to Wexcombe.
